Located in the heart of Dublin, Aster Springs Outpatient – Columbus occupies a sunlit suite in a home-like setting surrounded by trees. Our facility specializes in treating adolescents and adults of all genders, ages 16 and older, struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions.
We place a strong emphasis on building and practicing the skills and self-management strategies in real-time that enables clients to build a life that aligns with their values and ensures long-term recovery.
Our program was intentionally designed with trauma-informed principles in mind. We offer a relaxed and private treatment setting with small group sizes to enhance individualized care. Also, our multi-disciplinary team provides innovative evidence-based treatment with proven outcomes and effectiveness.

- What We Treat
At Aster Springs Outpatient – Columbus, our programs provide a supportive environment for clients to discover ways to recognize and manage their eating disorders. We aim to promote independence and autonomy, foster recovery, and empower clients to transform their lives. Using a comprehensive approach, we treat the following conditions:
Levels of Care
To meet each client’s unique needs, we offer intensive residential treatment, as well as a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Additionally, there are several housing options available for clients while they’re attending PHP and IOP treatment.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) 16+
PHP serves to prevent hospitalization, as well as provides a solid bridge for those stepping down from a hospitalization or a residential treatment program. Our PHP meets in person five days a week for six hours per day, and includes individual, family, and group therapy, as well as nutrition counseling, meal support, and medical and psychiatric services. We also offer a separate PHP for adolescents, ages 16-18.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) 16+
IOP is designed to help individuals who are experiencing an increase in distressing symptoms and behaviors or are struggling to progress in traditional outpatient services. IOP treatment includes individual, family, and group therapy, as well as nutrition counseling and meal support to foster meaningful improvement and crate a solid foundation for clients before transitioning to traditional outpatient. Our IOP meets in-person three to five days a week for three hours a day.
Evening Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (V-IOP) 16+
V-IOP is a convenient, effective, and COVID-safe treatment option that fosters meaningful improvement and provides a solid foundation for clients transitioning back to traditional outpatient treatment. Like our onsite IOP, our V-IOP offers individual, family, and group therapy, as well as nutrition counseling and meal support. Our V-IOP is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm EST. Learn more here.

Our Program
Customized Treatment
At Aster Springs Outpatient – Columbus, we provide customized care that’s designed to meet each client’s specific needs and unique goals. We understand that people are not their diagnosis; they’re a combination of all that’s happened in their lives and their future journeys. Because of this, our treatment team partners with clients and their families to design treatment plans that provide a successful pathway to recovery. Treatment can include psychotherapy groups, individual and family therapy, nutrition education, meal planning and support, and aftercare planning and assistance.
Compassionate Care
In a supportive and healing environment, we take a whole-person, trauma-informed approach to treatment using evidence-based modalities that facilitate progress from clinical care towards independent self-care. Our evidence-based therapies include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), experiential and expressive therapies, and emotion-focused family therapy (EFFT). Selah House Outpatient – Columbus is an LGBTQ+ affirming environment and is inclusive of all religious preferences.
Collaborative Environment
Experienced clinicians provide multidisciplinary treatment utilizing medical, nutritional, psychological, and psychiatric interventions. Our treatment philosophy values collaboration with the community, including regular education and coordination with outpatient providers, family members, and other members of each client’s support system. The two-way communication with each client’s community ensures clients receive seamless continuity of care as they transition into and out of our program.

Residential Treatment
At our Nashville location we offer intensive residential treatment. Our safe and serene facility provides the ideal environment and community needed to heal. Each client receives whole-person and multi-dimensional treatment approaches that ensure sustained recovery. Our residential treatment program is available to women, ages 18 and older. Learn more.

Adolescent-Specific Programming
At Aster Springs Outpatient – Columbus, our adolescent PHP and adolescent IOP truly meet each teen (and their family) where they are based on their specific treatment needs. Treatment includes psycho education as well as a unique art therapy program. A major focus of programming is the role of social media and how it affects body image and development. We also provide specialized family-based therapy (FBT), which is an evidence-based treatment that educates parents on how they can support their teens throughout treatment and beyond.

Aster Springs Outpatient – Columbus is in-network with Aetna, Anthem, Beacon, Humana, Cigna, Medical Mutual of Ohio, MultiPlan, Ohio Health Choice, Optum/UnitedHealthcare, Paramount, and Physicians Health Plan. For clients who prefer to pay for treatment directly, we offer a private-pay rate.
